This video is taken from a larger video promoting a new extreme sport called Hantis. The Hantis group gave me a .ai vector version of their logo. I took this file and converted it into a 3D model in Cinema 4D and then animated it into a transition and composited it with After Effects as seen in this video. Check out their website at www.hantis.net

how did u do that??? converting it a 3d logo??

@khentrocks Its not as simple as just hitting a button that says "convert" In a nutshell: I brought the .ai file into Cinema 4D, projected the image on a background and then modeled the individual elements of the logo (the background, the person, the cirlces etc) and placed the on top of the .ai image being projected. Then I connected them all, added depth and assigned materials to them.

@khentrocks thats actually EXACTLY the right workflow. Except for this particular animation the .ai file given to me wasn't set up correctly and I had to build the 3D models over top the illustrator file.

Looks good! Funny thing is, I've never heard of that sport.

@AUHHZUMA Hantis is an up and coming "sport" popular among the college folk. Its surprisingly simple and addicting to play. Check out their website, or better yet, check out the full video this small clip was taken from in the video description.
