How to root and clockworkmod HTC EVO Shift 4G on Gingerbread 2.3

This video will show you how to downgrade to Android 2.2 Froyo which will allow you to root and clockworkmod your phone. You will still be able to flash gingerbread roms, so don't worry! This WILL WIPE ALL PHONE DATA, so be sure to backup your phone!

I am having the same problem with a broken link for the ruu file for downgrading. :( I am doing a rooting for the first time and really haven't found a better tutorial with visuals. Any help?
