I own a 5 string bass and sometimes when I slap the A string or the E string I tend to also slap an additional string or 2 unnecessarily and I was just wondering if there was an easy way to fix this.

Try to change the angle at which your thumb is slapping the string. Otherwise a lot of practice will fix this very common problem :-)

All the drums patterns are from the Korg Pandora PX4D effect box that play through. There is a lot of different drum patterns built into the Korg Pandora PX4D.

how do u get your bass to get that sound

I guess thats the sound of a brand new Music Man Stingray with default setup/action and EB strings.

@ThadewGrum how low is the action on your bass mine is about average if not a tiny bit higher but i can only get a good slap off on the e string any tips?
