There is no reason to ingratiate yourself to anyone over this issue, those who would argue it are bigots anyhow, I say fcuk'm. Though.. politically it is convieniant to turn it on and off at thier leisure. And those who find this offensive, yes I am pointing my finger at you, and I would shove it right in your eye. only someone from another planet would be a different race, humans are humans, with subtle differences. Only politics involves such a stupid concept as Race, Skin color is not race.

So are you trying to say that everyone who had ancestors who fought for the South are all racists? What about the blacks who fought for the South, and yes, there WERE blacks who fought for the South. I'll also bet you didn't know the first slave owner in the US was a black man.
