Il a été mon Maitre en improvisation durant 2 ans. Je lui dois aussi de m'avoir confié, à plusieurs reprises, ses claviers, grandes orgues de Saint Denis, lorsqu'il était absent. Un génie, sans conteste, doublé d'un Artiste au sens le plus pur du terme. Sa chaleur, son amitié, son ouverture vers les autres, sa pudeur, sa générosité, sa sensibilité extrême, en font un homme admirable, et très attachant. Merci pour tout, Pierre...

I think that this piece is both the most beautiful and the least technically challanging of the 12 major organ works that Franck wrote. This performance is excellent.
