I think something is very wrong with your taser. It should not run out of battery without use. Maybe you should contact them. But don't show them how you dismantled and reassembled your very own battery pack ;)

Also it seems strange you would run out of battery so quickly. Taser says they last 50 thirty second firings. Have you been using dry stun a lot?

LOL. Way to be inventive. Seems like too much trouble though. And not as sturdy. If only they made it so you take out only the 2 batteries then replace them on your own instead of going through taser.

The final result is very sturdy. But yes, Taser could have made us life much easier if the taser had a battery slot so you can change the batteries whenever they ran out.
I haven't used even the first 30 second firing with the first battery, and the second battery I didn't used it at all. I have the taser in my car all the time, maybe it got heated and drained, I don't know...
