Pacific National locos 9035, 9016 and 8225 power up through Maitland on their way out to Kooragang Island unloader with a full load of coal. Roughly 110 wagons from a quick count.
Normally two 90 class and one 82 class pull 80 G wagons which weigh 120 tonnes each when loaded, totalling 9600 tonnes. Three 90 class will haul 91 G wagons, total weight 10920 tonnes and total length about 1550 metres. Iron ore trains in Western Australia are much longer and heavier.
Since we are noe going to have a plague of videos on Youtube, can we please edit them before posting? I got bored waiting for 2 mins. just to see the tail light. Or was I supposed to count the trucks?
