The judges were seriously dropping Acid or something whenever Steliana Nistor was up. Seriously, wtf.

I love Nistor, but the criticisms were definitely justified in my opinion.. they weren't criticizing her as a gymnast, but rather the strange judges who gave her really high scores when she had lots of mistakes in some of her routines.

it is so obvious who they like and who they don't. they should be more impartial. that's what i think, anyway. and it is normal to cheer for your country, but being fair to the others too.

How dare they mock the announcement about respecting the gymnasts and not use "flashlight" when they can hardly pronounce any competitors name correctly unless they happen to have an english name. What was the word...ah yeah respect.

Shape up! Just cos you have english as a first language doesn't mean you should mock others who don't. At least they have made the effort to learn a foreign language.

@nanquan491 so I guess the obvious question would be why did no one file a protest with the judges? I'm not a gymnast and even I knew there were form mistakes, more so on vault but there were definitely breaks on bars.

@gymnast4ever it's because of her high start values. If you have a high start value, you can still get a high score because the deductions are coming from execution. someone said she had a 7 start value, she had over 1.5 points knocked off for execution.

I'm probably the only one who thinks Nistor's score is fair. Her start value was a 7.0, and she scored a 15.225. Her execution was 8.225. Very fair.

Steliana Nistor was a rip-off during the all-around competition. She shouldn't have medalled. Her vault and bars were horrible executed.

And why such a big score difference between Nastia's and Yiling's bars?? They were both perfect and had similar difficulty. Yan Yiling received many deductions she didn't deserve. I wish judges had been so strict with Nistor.
