Currently it only work on PC, BUT recently they announced midleware for the PS3, so devs could make it work on the PS3. I'm not sure on the 360. =(

Wish the amBX actually project the lights more. Not really that hard to do.

they are working on it to bring it to consoles like the playstation 3 and xbox360

also - do you know if this is compatible with Xbox 360 - or is purely a PC peripheral? If it's the latter, then there's not much point in me getting it really which would be a damned shame as it looks awesome.

Tried Philips amBX Premium Kit with CoD4 and what it adds to the game is simply stunning. Never thought it would add so much to the gameplay. You really feel like you are shooting a colt, and it even gives you that heart pounding urgency to run away when getting shot at, with fans blowing in your face, ambient lights changing to every light in the game, the feeling of the rumble whilst you're running away shooting enemies and hearing every bullet ricochet around you.

amBX is an awesome piece of kit, love mine to bits. Ive taken the lights / speaker combo over to houseparties and it changes the whole atmosphere of the party.
Also really good with games, some of the new titles; CoD4, Assasins Creed, GH3 etc fully utilise it and really give you a new gaming experience and make you feel part of the game. Well worth giving it a go if you havent already.
The cushion thing might be good for those that suffer from SAD but not sure it will take off really.
