Nothing special. Just me trying out my little home made knife that used to be a Gerber Profile. I re-handled it with oak slabs and changed the profile a good bit on my belt sander.. I do some mild batoning and make a few fuzz sticks. I light the fire with flint and steel. Good times!

  • nice knife mod. Have you ever tried charred cotton rope instead of char cloth ? it's supposed to be less fragile and more compact.

  • @deanznz

I have tried tinder tubes, but not pre-charred cotton rope. I prefer the wide flat surface of charcloth because it presents a large area to catch a spark.

  • Got some major skill with that lil blade bro!
