@davidchevers I might have found the problem. It may be the format of your SD card. Go to Korg's website, search M50, and download the 'owners manual' pdf (its down the list a bit). **Page 91 says the SD card has to be the FAT32 format 2 GB... it doesnt support SDHC cards. You can google search how to format SD cards to FAT32, not sure if the 2GB is strict or not, but thought this may help.

nice work hey can i ask how do u save the song i haveing problems i trying to save them on the memorry sd thing thank u i keep the good work
There are great drum programs in there. I got used to , before the m50 , doing them manually. I like doing it all myself but it takes so long and I am not a great drummer like the patches in the m50. Thoughts?

@maerdit111 Yep there are some really good drum patterns in the Korg already. Almost too many! Sometimes when I need a complicated fill or roll, I'll go thru those patterns and find one that has what I need, You can build an awesome drum track that way, without having any drummer knowledge.

Hi, thanks for your time... I have an m50 to, and a question.... when i record a new song, rename it, and then i turn off the keyboard, when i turn it on, the song is lost... the memory protect in global mode is totally off... do u know why that happens? (sorry for my english, i speak spanish) please help me... bye, greetings from chile

@themonillo Sorry it took so long, sounds like you don't have an SD card inserted. You have to save songs to that media or thru the USB port to avoid losing them when you shut down.
