I wish I had wireless headphones for my Minelab Etrac.. now I do..
The video shows the Sony FM radio receiving the FM transmitted signals from the Minelab Etrac.
There is no lag
I look forward to testing them out in the field.
Thanks for watching

Parts used :-
1 .Fm transmitter 87-108mhz FM
2. 3M Ear defenders with built in FM receiver
3. 1/4 jackplug
4. 3.5mm - phono adapter
5. Solder + iron
6. Imagination.

Why not have a go at building your own?

  • not sure if it is the video, but it seems like it has a lag from the target to the sound. which would make a huge difference in the field. please let me if this is just the video or if it doe really have a lag. i am interested in wireless for my etrac. :o)

  • @detectingit Its the video, it wasn't like it till after I rendered it!

    I'll re-do the video when I get a chance.

It works well, the only bad thing being the battery life on the transmitter.

    Thanks for watching

  • That's cool Man - sure beats long wires. I used to use two 25-foot coiled cords.
