When REO specialist Frank DeNovi receives a new property from one of his client lenders he often has little more to go on than an address and the name of the previous owner. He generally doesn't know whether the property is occupied or whether the furnace has been stripped out and the home trashed.

In this video segment DeNovi talks about how he approaches a new property, and discusses the surprising fact that more and more properties are being placed into habitable condition by lenders rather than sold "as is."
