@scumgod13 LOL Shane MacGowan has faded away. His music lives on and will do forever. But he has gradually faded into the background. And thats why I want him to clean up. So he can come forth and let his presence be known once again. Sadly its never gonna happen. There are only so many drunken incoherent interviews of him I can watch on youtube before faith is lost.

I hope he doesn't die as well but on the other hand, people have been saying that for decades now. The first time I saw him (back in the mid-1980s) someone made the comment that if he continued to indulge the way he did, he surely wouldn't live to see the end of the decade. It was a safe bet - when you considered all of the visionaries who fell to it over the years. The only lesson here is to never bet against Mr. MacGowan. No matter what, he always seems to get the last laugh.
