@87006 the water pump bearings are on their way out apparently and wll be fixed once the new owner(Ian Riley) gets a chance to look over it properly and fix it up.

@37427 ok. Its always sounded like that whilst she's been at the ELR and when i've bashed her!

Ibelieve the sound is caused by a burst water pipe or pipe of some description this will be fixed before the loco returns to the mainline with HNRC 87006

@EastMidsTrainsHSTBoy I have bashed the loco twice before, once at the NVR and once at the MNR, on both previous occasions she had more of a distinctive growl & thrash to the rest of the class, in this she has a bit of 'chug' noise similar to perhaps 901. Have a look at some earlier videos of her, I'm sure you will notice a difference in the tone.
