Did Robert ( Iron Man) actually wear a suit so cramped and congested ? How could he move ? And the CG looked so real .... cool !

@CenyddRos It was created by James Cameron's production company with Weta.

@17thSHIT I believe the level of motion capture achieved has nearly everything to do with the camera system developed by James Cameron - a multi-camera system that recorded the face performances from many angles - however, Weta rocks, no doubt about that.

@CenyddRos Weta worked on the environment an the facial capture. ILM worked on the choppers and explosions, and they weren't the highlight of the film, the Weta stuff was.
-
@17thSHIT ILM and Weta worked on Avatar together.

Thanks for this inspire story, thanks George...

Did robert really such a cramped looking suit ?? any one would have died in that suit...... it looked much tight !
People can gripe on George for "Prequels suck" this and "Han shoots first" that. The fact is, had he not gone out on a limb in creating an effects house for his movie, about 90% of movies in the last 35 years either would have looked like crap or never gotten made. MOst of the films documented in this account for nearly every movie I watched as a kid and continue to inspire me as a filmmaker.
Thanks George for 35 years of ILM, the Force, and imagination!!
