Well that makes sense....since they teach this at Loudon ( the USA's most UNSAFE track) it must be true!!!....scuz me while I go back to smoking my crack......
Are you on f***in' crack? If a rider goes down in a situation like this, they are supposed to lie prone on the track until they are sure that they are safe. This is taught at Loudon and mentioned over and over again at the rider meeting.
Empirical evidence? Hmmm....lets see....2 kids killed this year in the US ( same basic cause, opening lap crash). Kids have only been riding in a LARGE PACK of other riders for about ...lets see...4-6 races....? Riders level of practice, drilling and experience with this situation.....0!
Riders in Europe of which i have wroked with 3 now ( each one says same thing....in Europe, Italy, Spain and England, we are taught how to avoid this problem...turn and face oncoming traffic.
Pointing to Europe as how to do it is NOT enough. Where is the empirical evidence? Until you have some, you are causing as much damage as you think you are good.
Go ahead and take irrelevant cheap shots at Loudon. Makes the argument more stupid.
(What track will y'all pick on after we get the new road course?)
