Pokemon Fire Red Walkthrough Part 41: The Legendary Brid - Moltres

This is part 41 of my continuous walkthrough on Pokemon Fire Red.

In this video, I try to catch Moltres, one of the three birds in the legendary trio. Moltres is an Fire/Flying type Pokemon at level 50. You need Surf and Strength (Part 27) to get to it. You can catch it at the top of Mt. Ember.

Moltres is pretty hard to catch, but DO NOT USE YOUR MASTER BALL. Eventually you can catch it in an Ultra Ball (Fuchsia City), so bring about 20-30 with you. Lowering stats will help you greatly like to lower it's Special Defense.

aghhhh this ticked me off so much... the only thing i had to put it to sleep was a lvl 47 butterfree with sleep powder.... >.< when it wasn't abusing flamethrower every time i threw him out there, he was abusing fire spin -_- so i couldn't switch it out after putting it to sleep so i could confuse it as well... i went through 30 ultra balls before it committed suicide in its own confusion... i was so blown... does it ever run out of pp when it's not on your side?
