  • Steptoe remains one of the greatest comedy shows ever and Doddy still rules too... you don't get talent like Corbett, Brambell and Dodd these days!

  • @yakacm He regularly forgot his lines and arrived late at read-throughs which it's been said annoyed Corbett immensely

  • @yakacm The Steptoes always went to Bognor Regis for their holidays. But this was a live summer show in Blackpool so was set in Blackpool. It's comedy.

  • Great sketch in excellent quality given its rareness. Why was this not included in the Steptoe & Son box set?

  • Wilfred Brambles always does that thing were he sounds as thou he just about to forget his lines, but catches it at the last second, I'd love to know if he does it on purpose. The Motorways would have still been quite novel then, but Wouldn't they have gone to Brighton anyway.
