My piano accompaniment to Eric Clapton's Change The World. The first version is with John Tropea's version from his instrumental on his "A Simple Way to Say 'I Love You' " CD, followed by Eric Clapton's vocal version from Eric Clapton's - "Complete Clapton" CD. The same arrangement applies to both with some minor chord variations. The instrumental version was recently used in a PBS special documentary for "By The People".
If you can visualize a chord progression in the key of C, then you can easily transpose that bass and chord set to just about any other key.

The purpose of the keyboard transposition is to make it easier to play and form some improvs. I do this with several other songs that are part of my pop piano program (in the making). As many guitarists write their songs in the key of E, my program is geared for keyboardists to visualize these arrangements in the key of C. The focus is not on transposing for the purpose of vocal ranges, but rather to address primary chord structure within the chord progression, (easier in C, than other keys).

Hi Mark, this sounds great! I was going to watch your hands and transcribe it, but it's in the key of E...and your hands are playing it in C. Any reason for the transposition? Anyhow, great job. I'd love to add this to some of my casuals, even on solo piano without the rhythm it would sound nice.
