@WoolyWoolwine83 im not saying that the national teams develop players, i know clubs develop players.. youth tournaments are just an indicator of progression in the their development.. yeah your right about holland but germany actually do appear in some youth tournaments as a threat

@lovejessica531 Our players have had potential, they were just ruined by terrible coaching and development, and only now are they starting to realized that coaching was the main problem. Of course, youth tournaments aren't necessarily the best indicator (even though they can show talent) of the future. Germany and Holland both aren't really well known for winning youth tournaments yet they still manage to have talent coming up. Players develop better at clubs, not national teams.

@WoolyWoolwine83 yea but still usa's players have never had lots of potential.. the tournament has produced the likes of messi and maradona so dont say no one from those youth championships go onto become first class players and still usa can't do anything when it comes to youth championship compared to mexico and you can actually tell that the mexican players are well developed and have skill and do have potential to get somewhere bigger

@lovejessica531 Know who else has won the u17 World Cup? Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Switzerland. No one is going to mistake them for future world powers anytime soon. And even we have made the semis of the U20 World Cup, granted that was back in 1989, but it did happen. (Only player who went on to bigger and better things in that tournament was Kasey Keller).

how about gio dos santos, vela, jonathan dos santos, guardado, barrera <- all those players i just named are more skilled than any of your american players and plus mexicos youth system is 10 times better than the americans... for example u17 mexican team just won the u17 world cup and the U20 mexican team is in the semis for the u20 world cup..
