These tests demonstrate the TRV turbines ability to pump air up to 30 PSI without stalling. The diaphram pumps will not exceed this pressure which is required to aerate deep ponds where there is more water head pressure to overcome. I was also able to get the alternators fitted to the bottom of the rotors. I hooked the turbine to a totally discharged battery so it would be under load right away. This was a good demonstration of this turbines ability to perform both water aeration and battery charging from one machine. The goal was to start charging around 10 MPH and the windings seem to be just about perfect. The turbine is proving to be a real work horse.

@bigdbez G'day Bob... Wow, that's an interesting variation of a Wind Turbine... Bloody dangerous at Ground Level, and a complicated, high-maintenance mongrel to locate atop a tower... Apparently... Is it by Rube Goldberg, or out of the Heath-Robinson school of Windmillology ? That's the beauty of the T.L.A.R. School of Engineering. If you rekon That Looks About Right, then the Project is a success !

    Ciao !

  • Nice demo.
