I actually like this version better than the original; his voice is just lovely, and you can really hear the passion in his voice. The slowness and softness makes it less angry than the original, but you can still detect anger there. It's just masked more by a sense of urgency in trying to get through to this girl; the result is both beautiful and more heart-wrenching.

Is there a place where you can download this song by them? I LOVE it.

Why bother commenting on a video if you're going to bitch about it? I listened to the other version, and I didn't find it near as good as this one. You can hear all the anger and emotion in his voice, it's sounds better to a slow beat. But that's my opinion. So whatever.

The thing that was great about the original was the fury, everything came at you at a million miles an hour, and the lead singer basically spat snarled all of his lyrics. This version is too mellow and soft, it's like somebody that's never been angry trying to describe anger.

I will admit this is a talented dude, but this is not the song to showcase these talents. Stick with Hall and Oates covers with that style.

@PeonSanders911 HAhahahaha.....you are 100% correct. This is a horrible cover. It's like they woke up and said, "hey, how can we butcher a great song today".

This is a much better song without powerchords lol. Soco's version has just so much passion. So much desperation. So much beauty
listen at 1:10 , can dramarama do that? No. Can buckcherry? Hell no

@shane931000 I kinda like the more melancholy feel of this version. I do prefer the more standard angry/frustrated version, but there's definitely room for this style.

Love the original version. Saw someone recommend this version. Extremely disappointed. This really sucks. 'Anything, Anything' isn't meant to be a soft, slow song with pianos and backstreet-boy vocals. It's meant to be angry, confused, lost. The guy in the song is willing to do anything for this girl, and opened himself to her. And she's turned his back on him. He's sad. But I think he's more angry. This is a horrible cover/interpretation...
