The Illinois Central Green Diamond takes the stage as it zooms around the layout. Made in 1935 only, this American Flyer beauty features a die-cast nose, sheet metal construction, glazed windows, illumination, and a manual reverse. Next, the cast aluminum version of the American Flyer Burlington Zephyr passes the Green Diamond in the siding. This Zephry version features the narrow locomotive and three cars, including RPO, coach, and observation. The original bulbs in the set cast a golden hue.

I really love your videos of all these gorgeous trains! I operate 0 scale (2rail--DCC) models on my pike, but have always adored these tinplate toys. I can never get enough of them. They are true works of art. I also love the way you run them at 50SMPH instead of 300SMPH. Keep 'em coming!
