In Japanese the sounds aren't pronounced with an accent and stuff.

Ex. sentence:The Little Prince is a good book.

Jap:Hoshi no ouko sama wa douo omoshiroi desu.

Mandarin on the other hand,has to be strongly pronounced like:

Chn:Xiǎo wáng zǐ shì hěn shàn zhù
