Ethan Nadelmann clearly explains why prohibition is still a failed policy.
Ethan Nadelmann, Executive Director of the Drug Policy Alliance, the leading organization promoting alternatives to the 'war on drugs', drops knowledge all over FOX News and the media about prohibition and its discontents.
Dr. Nadelmann asks people to think seriously about drug prohibition, calling on all of us to break the taboo and honestly discuss the current lock-em-up/militaristic model we have for dealing with drugs.
The Drug Policy Alliance advocates a public health approach to drug policy.

@rockintetster Fools like you are condoning and pushing people to drink alcohol (which is far more harmful socially and physically than marijuana!) when all the people want is an alternative to alcohol! People are finally realizing that marijuana IS LESS harmful than tobacco or alcohol and are starting to ask questions! Times are a changin pal! Whether you like it or not!

@rockintetster Ofcourse pot is damaging to society in your eyes because you only see the outcome of prohibition! You do not see the every day law abiding, hard working, member of society that likes to come home after a hard days work and have a joint or two to relax. Or the average law abiding people that have trouble sleeping and are able to smoke a joint before bed and sleep like a baby! You only see the criminal aspect of marijuana which was created by making it illegal and prohibiting it!

@rockintetster Well your other comment got flagged for spam and honestly I don't think you are on the winning side. Lol maybe you should consider thinking about all the extra time, resources, and money your agency and all police agencies would have freed up if marijuana were to become legal. Even if there are social costs associated with it this would not be a concern of law enforcement since law enforcement is not a way to treat addicts. I do not consider an addict a criminal.

@rockintetster Once again (REPEATING MYSELF) you must not truly know why cannabis was made illegal to begin with! I guess you being a law enforcement officer know the complete history of Americas cannabis industry? I'm guessing that you know in the times of George Washingtons presidency the law stated that citizens HAD to grow hemp/cannabis because they used it the smart way for many different textiles, paper, rope, etc. and also used it as medicine! Our founding fathers new right from wrong!

@XMrCXify If smoking pot were beneficial to our society, it NEVER would have been made illegal. Do you have a brain in your head, or is it clouded by pot smoke? I am a drug enforcement officer with more training and research on drugs than you or anyone else you can think of. POT IS DAMAGING TO OUR SOCIETY, in a different way than alcohol. PS I removed my comment.

@rockintetster Your comments were removed haha. Oh and you obviously don't understand why cannabis was made illegal to begin with. Its illegality was not based on scientific studies/research or on the true outcome of its use. You need to do some research. Google "the history of marijuana" just pick one there are many ways to find out the truth about marijuana. One just has to be motivated to do so. Many aren't because they are so quick to believe everything the government tells them!!

@rockintetster Did you seriously copy and paste what another guy on another video commented? People abuse alcohol daily! 80,000 people a year DIE from ALCOHOL! NO ONE has EVER DIED from the use of MARIJUANA! You are ignorant.. And a fool and lame for copying and pasting some one else's comment! You have such a little grasp on this topic that you can't come up with your own thoughts on it.

Just stop shipping the drugs to America?
How did she get on the show? If it were that simple, if someone could just ask them to stop shipping it to us then they wouldn't be shipping it here.
Is she implying that its allowed or something? Like it isn't underground already? Why on Earth would they keep the drugs there, instead of sending them to where people have more money..
I wonder who she slept with...
