It would help viewers to understand how many galxies are there if you could show a scale picture of the diameter of the moon as seen by us in arc-minutes side-by-side with the dimensions fo the HDF. The moment I learned that the HDF photo was 1/300th the area of the moon, my perception of the Universe changed greatly.

For mankind the earth is the destination without an alternate. And that makes me a realistic idealist.

Yes, 1) is easiest of all and I would add the most pleasant. Some believe earth could support up to 15 bil. Now we are about 6 bil.
completion of 2) is still on the agenda. Most of existing brain mass on the planet is totally wasted dealing with irrelevant activities.
Therefore 3) has to wait for a while.

Yes, TV is not our best calling card.

One thing we have to figure out first is how to do Space Manufacturing of all materials and compounds we do on Earth.

This 1944 delayed post proves computers even slower then.

Phases 1 & 2 are complete, and we await details for phase 3; can you hint at release date?

PS: not many think much during Phase 1

PSS: the universe seems big cuz it is, but with almost 100 years of collaterally exported cultural brainwashing from TV etc. we can be fairly confident that forewarned others will avoid us, so clear sailing for at least a 100 LY radius. If not we could hear "What mean Viagra?"

not a bad idea dude, but even, that would take a reallllyy long time to achieve. It's not like we have the money or resources to live on other planets at the moment.,
