Other States don't understand how it is like to be a border state with Mexico. However, they will certainly understand later down the road when all these Mexicans flood their states like ants looking for jobs, and they cannot handle them. It is a farce when the Federal Government does not implement their own immigration laws for the nation. Arizona should allow the Mexicans in, but bus them over to other states, then we shall see what happens.

The State of Arizona is doing it NOW! By the way, homeland security is a FEDERAL agency not a STATE agency. What they do in their state is sovereign to that state.

@Beeirish1965 You miss my point, it was Obamas decision to appoint her to head Homeland Security when she couldn't or had no desire to protect the state of Arizona from illegal immigration.

This is not up to Pres. obama. Do you not understand your US Constitution. If the Federal Government does not do it's primary job=PROTECT THE UNITED STATES AND IT'S CONSTITUTION! AZ and the people of AZ have the right to protect themselves. This is called STATE SOVEREIGNTY AND IT IS A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT. This is not racism or illegal it is justice and fair for those that are waiting in line to get in this country.

She is also on record as saying "do Arizonans really want to pay more to have their car washed or landscaping done" sounds like the California politicians of the past, who were opposed to illegal immigration as long as it wasn't affecting their pocket book or nanny, gardener..etc. etc.....slavery still exists folks, thats why we have 13 million illegal immigrants in this country.

She has also suggested illegal immigrants be given a drivers license (our main form of legal identification). She is also a thorn in Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's (who was overwhelmingly re-elected) efforts to control illegal immigration in Arizona. Now she will be in charge of Homeland Security??? Thats not the change I expected, President Obama.
