Red Orchestra 2 - Top 5 Tips & Tricks for Beginners [HD 720]

My first tutorial video here. I'm a long time veteran of the Red Orchestra games and it's mods so I like to think I know a little about the games!

I spent quite some time thinking of the top 5 tips I'd give to someone just starting out on Red Orchestra 2 having never played one of the games before. I hope these tips will help you out as the game is incredibly unforgiving if you step even slightly off the line.

If I get enough interest in this video I'll make another one with advanced tips & tricks to get an even bigger edge over your opponents!

Why is it that when I join a server that says there people on it,And on the team select it shows people aren't in it?

@LuzeZeiss It's a known bug in the beta (probably fixed with the update they just released). Tosolve it just right click a server and click 'Join Server'. Hope that helps.

@dannyday58218195 Beleive it or not, it was more difficult to aim in the first Red Orchestra. In fact, the first one has a lot more stuff factored in Red Orchestra 2 sadly, considering Red Orchestra 2 only focuses on early war i.e. 1941-1943. The first Red Orchestra consists of all of the war in the Eastern Front. Hopefully Red Orchestra 2 becomes a better game a year from now. Because some things in it get old.

your tips are useful but these are all tactics i always use when playing FPS - the difference with this game is that when you start out - you dont get a nice AT gun or a quality sniper rifle - you get a submachine gun or rifle most of the time

and killing people with the rifle is friggin difficult!!!

put some rifle killing tips on here for us noobs cuz believe me on a full server ya die and die and die and forever end up screaming!!!

Good video, just getting into this game, it is hard to stay patient but you know you've got to!

Looks good on your PC and very smooth, got a 5850 which is a good card and it doesn't look as good as yours.
