At 5:30am the great ship rounds Bradley's Head in Sydney Harbour for a final run up to the Harbour Bridge and the Overseas Terminal. This was 24th February 2008 - thirty years to the day of her maiden voyage to Australia and arrival in Sydney on 24th February 1978.

Thank you for posting this most majestic piece of my beloved QE2. I thought I was the only there that morning to welcome the Queen as she arrived in Sydney for the very last time. I was also there 30 years to the day way back in '78 to welcome her when she sailed in to Sydney as "the
largest liner in the world!!" How times have changed that statistic! It too was a sparkling summer morning & this film of her bought all the memories flooding back! It was
beautiful, thank you again!
