Both Tendulkar and Lara were great. And you cannot distinct between there talent or records because there are many other factors that affect these.

At the end of the day it is up to the individual as to who they preferred. I like Brain Lara more, not because I think he is better then Tendulkar but he was more exciting to watch.

You can keep "ALL Innings of Tendulkar" on one side and then you put only this inning from Lara on the other side, still "LARA" wins it. Test Match, final day, more than 250 runs required in final inning, 8 wickets down, you have the nerve to get it there, Oh boy, You are a LEGEND !!! Remember its the "QUALITY" which matters not the "QUANTITY". When you score runs with Ambrose and Walsh against McGrath, Warne and Gillespie, only one word can describe you and that is "LARA the LEGEND" !!!
