  • I have some suggestions, but I don't want to leave something that could be seen as negative. I am tired of being being nasty or over critical in youtube.

  • Do say what you think

I will receive your comment positively

  • I tried to keep theme on RH using stacatto

lH, I used staccato cause bass notes and chords have a tonic place and fonction, like sqeletton .the thumbs in LH realise a little melody, like a contrepoint

    In Baroque it's not uncommun

This version of this piece is surprising because of the stacatto and the accents

I can play this piece differently, for instance legato on the 2 hands.

But the day i recorded it , I felt it that way

    Bye and go on commenting

    Philippe. :)

  • and sorry my bad english

  • Hello, Yes, you are right, I play that piece staccato, that is the way I feel it.

I often play Bach that way.

Do you play the piano yourself ?

    Bye,

    Philippe. :)

  • I'm sorry, I've cancelled your first comment by mistake : I wanted to click on "answer" and I've clicked on "cancel".

    I apologise for that.

    Bye,

    Philippe. :)

  • Le concerto est en fa mineur :) . Sinon c'est original le jeu en main gauche.

  • Found :D

  • A charming piece, indeed. :D Does anyone have an idea, where i could search for sheet music :D?

  • on ne joue pas un largo comme on joue en allegro

  • thank you Philippe :)

  • There's someone who knows the "music"; unlike me :-) Keep up the good work!

  • Who made the transcription of this piece? It is not stylistic. There are a lot of people who comment and they don't really know about these matters. If you were my student, I would suggest you choose Kempff transcription of same piece.

  • Ok, well, generally the LH is too loud and especially LH thumb which seems to be making a melody of its own. You could make the spread chords a little closer together, toning down volume and it would sound on much higher level. Using a touch more pedal will give more expressive form to the piece. As Orchestra does not spread chords maybe don't spread chords either. Generally I think you have right idea about melody in RH. Making it less busy in LH will allow listener to hear more clarity in RH.
