In the studio with the creator of our official backing tracks and Grammy-award winning producer/guitarist Pete Anderson as he talks about the five new tracks he developed for this year's contest. Pete provides some background on each track and offers up some suggestions on playing along with the songs. Be sure to check out the end portion of the clip where he extends some extremely valuable insight on playing the blues acoustically.

thats total bullshit. I dare you to post a video of that ever happening once at any stage of the competition. I've watched the store preliminaries every week and the judges have always picked the right two guys. all of the grand finalists every year have been real blues players, except for maybe alex johnson who was more funk.

unfourtuneatly king of the blues is king of the shrues..techniques are looked for not blues playing...many shredders and tappers keep getting the nod instead of the true blues player

Nice! Takes some guts to show your stuff, too, Pete, with every "young gun" that thinks they are all that tuning in to see this! Enjoyed it.

Thanks for a great set of backing tracks. Something for everyone, and it's amazing at how many styles I suck at too! Always something to learn for sure. Cheers!
