Hey how did you get the alarm to work after your countdown? I'm running this on Windows 7 and it just gives me an error message when the timer runs out on the "alarm" setting. Works fine with "shut down" though.

@BugBear6000 it worked right from the start. it always stops short of the full countdown by about a tenth of a second or so. works ok on vista other than the occasional crash. hogs the cpu as you can see in the video. still fun to screw around with though.
