It's not that you're unlucky with trying to get the ray gun, you only get it by chance from the random weapon box. Once you get it, I suggest in the later rounds you just use it rather than your other weapon if you have an MG42 or the Browning M1919. Once I got past round 10 by myself I just start to use the ray gun if I have it by then instead of my other weapon whatever that may be.

hey if u want a ray gun go to damn i forgot the name the second level the beach

step1: do what the captain tells u to do after u do that u go to a hole full of water and jump in it it is on ur right on the beach then start heding to the far left of the beach and look for more holes filled with water and at the end it mite take a few seconds but ur screen will shake and a weird guy will be talking and some lion looking stauts will be holding a ray gun in there mouths and there u go
