  • Nice video. Beautiful dog.

  • It's worth the research when you look up 'animal actors' and where they came from and their real names. They will either change the name in the movie for that animal or they will keep the name the same or give it a 'call name.' In Unlawful Entry, the cat's name was Merv and not 'Tiny' which Ray Liotta called the cat. Believe it or not, there was also a promo cd for the soundtrack & I have the score to the entire film. A bigger dog is the Caucasian Mtn.Dog(Ovtcharka).

  • I don't recall the man's name b/c the letter is buried under lots of dog stuff. I was obsessed in collecting killer dog and cat films and regular dog and cat films, any films w/animals in it, practically. Aha! His name is Richard Eichhorn, who owns a large kennel-Drakyi Tibetan Mastiffs. The film company who bought a dog from his home also purchased another tibbie (tibetan mastiff) from elsewhere as a 'stand-in' dog when Max got tired. I think the stand in was female, tho

  • That dog's name is really called 'Max', his title name "Max-A-Million". He belonged to a man who breeds Tibetan Mastiffs, and that's what kind of dog that is. Drakyi Tibetan Mastiffs from Simi Valley California. I emailed the man and mailed him a letter and got one back saying he had a pic of his dog but it's not on there now. I luckily have a print out of it somewhere. He sold that dog to the film company & the puppy at the end of the film was his too.

  • @musicman3005, FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!! The third word in that sentence. that is just an EPIC Fail. Here's your sign.

  • Max was in fact a Tibetan Mastiff.

  • @musicman3005 rottweiler

  • what kinda dong was max ???? can some one plx tell me

  • Tonster, I saw "MBF" in the theater. I would say "Cujo" was better because a rabid St. Benard can happen in real life, making it scarier. But a bionic dog can't happen in real life. ...or can it?

Is "MBF" available on DVD? I'll definitely get it.

  • Man's Best Friend release in 1993 by New Line Cinema. It's a horror sci fi movie about a genetically enhanced dog that goes crazy. Much better than Stephen King's Cujo movie. One of the best dog horror movies.
