i was in the front row... well front cause there is no seating. i threw a phat joint up on stage in front of shannon and he picked it up and stuck it behind his ear, i got a smile. i asked him about it behind the bar and he said he smoked it. i thought that was cool.

I LOVE me some Melon!!!! I was sooo lucky to have been able to see the band as a whole on the 1st cd in CINNCINNATI OHIO, @ a tiny club called BOGARTS. I knew they would be a special band, just how special is hard to explaine. I was able to kick it with them and get my ticket stub signed! I still have it, in a book of all the shows I've seen. I look @ them and wish I could go back in time.

I sadly will say that I think Blind Melon will never get the true recognition they deserve for being as great as they were. As for shannon being in heaven,i must disagree as he would quickly get very bored there. yet i am quite sure he has moved on to become something even better and bigger than the time he spent with us! A blizzard doesnt look back upon it's first few flakes/thx 4 posting this!
