Brick News for January 2012

All the new LEGO Star Wars sets from wave 1 have been released and are now in stores everywhere.

LEGO has released a few Lord of the Rings posters. The most recent ones featured pictures of the minifigures we'll be getting in the sets this coming summer. http://www.brickshow.com/new-lego-lord-of-the-rings-minifigs-pictures

Pictures of the 3 coming LEGO Super Hero Ultrabuilds have surfaced. We've posted them on BrickSuperHeroes.com. If you don't like Hero Factory you won't like these. The three new ones are Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America. We'll begin to see these in stores in April. The LEGO Cuussoo Minecraft project got official LEGO approval recently, which means that it will be made into a set. If you haven't seen it you can below, I wasn't that crazy about it. Exclusive LEGO Minifigures are coming in the summer. The 5 LEGO fan favorite collectible minifigures chosen for this exclusive release were the Elf, Fisherman, Gorilla Suit man, mummy and space villain. The mummy? Really? August is going to be a HUGE month! And one that will be very busy for The Brick Show. In Aug. we'll see the release of the new LEGO Star Wars, Games, Mining, Lord of the Rings, Creator, Friends, Monster Fighters, Technic, Ninjago and Hero Factory. Wow! This will be all the sets you'll ask for, for Christmas.
