Pretty good for a live recording, very crisp, clean, not too challenging until the last minute or so where there's a lot of weird strumming and HOPO patterns. Probably the first time I've ever heard this song in any form, too.

If the HD version of this video is not up yet, please give it 15 to 45 minutes for Youtube to finish converting it. This track was from earlier in Petty's career (why he sounds like he used to) while MJLD was from the 30th anniversary concert in gainesville.

I agree though...I would have loved for the anthology to include older recordings of the older songs in some cases

It's funny how Petty sounds almost exactly the same as he used to on this track, yet it seems like he's not even trying to sound the same on "Mary Jane's Last Dance". Oh well, at least I can enjoy his music for the most part.
