@2canines It's a fine radar, but Thales is years ahead of Aegis (Lockheed Martin) also that Sea Giraffe. This moment we're building that European rocketshield. Dutch frigates will get 2000 km radars that also are able to spot stealthy objects like the F22, F118, JSF, J20 etc. Probably all ships need to be connected with our radars. When there's an incoming missile it needs to be taken down. The only way that can be done, is when other ships radars are interacting with ours.

Swedens Finance Department has made the Visby the worlds most expensive fishing boat, because they chose to reduce the budget with 1 billion (removing anti-aircraft missiles), from 11 or smtn and approved earlier. This makes Visby unable to defend herself and her friendlie. Which is its MAIN PURPOSE. How they think that they are qualified to decide such a thing is as much a mystery as no other. I wonder why the ex-Defense minister chose to abdicate??? I hate them, my fellow countrymens. IDIOTS!
