  • Race relations are relative to where people live, work. I'm part of the 15% to say that race relations have become worse and will so in the future. The reason I say this is because this is become more and more of a non-white European based country. People don't want to say it , but this nation is sitting on a power keg that could cause a race war. Ask a white person what it would feel like to be in the minority.

  • @AmericanCritiquer Your right, I think people are becoming less race orientated, but I'm still pretty concerned about some of the rhetoric coming out of the US, specifically against Latin American and Arab American groups over this immigration issues. In any case the class divided in the U.S. is a bigger issues than race issue, or perhaps they're inter-related?

  • :-)

  • @1019drummer how i would like to see the ALL world thinking like that.all the best.

  • Nationally Elected Republicans

    80% Male -- 99% White

    -----

Gallup Poll 89% of registered Republicans are white.

RNC Chairman Michael Steele interview with GQ.

GQ: You made the comment at the convention about the sea of white faces. And you got a little bit of heat for that.

Steele: I sure did. Look at the room. Thirty-six black folks in the room? What, are you kidding me? Out of 4,000 people? Come on!"

  • well its still a huge problem in this country and needs to be dealt with

  • Didn't Americans elect a mixed race man, Obama, to the Presidency?

There will always be ethnocentric folks who don't want to mix. So what?
