No, I use Linux on my router. I work with it. Desktop-workstation? Erm, no. Nothing is automated in it. Which is one of the reasons why I don't like it very much

That's a pretty elitist attitude. Have you ever worked with Linux? Do you wonder why many sites use Linux servers as backends? Or why some people are unwilling to pay $2300 for a quad core desktop when I can customize one for $1400? It's ridiculous that you think OS X is the best, and that you only say "Linux is nice." By no way is Linux the best, but it's far more customizable, and much kinder on old hardware. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Mac head too.

you're going to get rid of linux? bastard... thats really not cool. they should have a tax or a fine or penalty or something... I don't know you and shouldn't be as pissed as I am, maybe you're not installing windows you're installing another linux? cause if you install windows I'm going to fly over your house with electromagnets and erase everything...

I installed Kubuntu, no need for the electromagnet patrol, than you very much.

Did you happen to see if there was a car adaptor charger also in that box? And also what operating system do you intend of putting on it?

There was no car adapter unfortunately, but the wattage should be low enough so you can just use one of those $40 RadioShack transformers. I put Kubuntu on the eee, runs like a dream.
