BJJ Black Belt Maajid Al-Kush shows us a modified flying armbar. This is a nice compliment to my video called "Falling Armbar" which shows the same technique.

Maajid received his BJJ Black Belt from Alliance founder Jacare Cavalcanti.

  • this could be my bread and butter. but my school guy never hardly want to start standing. :P wich i understand but cmon

  • @cadillacboi420 You can hit this from knees as well. It's a great start from the knees other than just waiting for someone to pull guard.

    Enjoy!

  • can someone comment or rate my flying armbar in my channel? :P i really liked this vid

  • @gottaLOVEBrazJJ I liked it. Seems like the training is paying off!

  • I tried to do pretty much flying submissions in rolling and competitions.... but for some reasons I can't seem to finish the armbar. I always get stuck on tuck position with my left leg hanging on his neck. Can't seem to extend my self either. Am I doing something wrong?

  • awesome vid... thanks.. you guys are awesome.. same with your tech.... i like coming here to watch for new moves for my no gi classes.. keep em coming :)

  • Thanks for the videos. I really enjoy them and I'm leaarning alot! Keep it up guys.

  • This favors me because I like the odds of playing it safer

its more like you bring them to you then you going up to them

    thanks for another great video

  • @spideyninja no actually it is a flying arm bar, cause when u leap of the ground it called flying .... a standing or falling armbar will alomst look like rolling or something like that ........ I think

    real good anyway

  • The precision, the practicality, the detail, the suggestions on integrating this technique into other combos are top notch man. Every vid is a gem, like Master Lloyd and Rhadi. When done right, not only does it look like you're pulling guard or setting up tomonage, you could be throwing knees, going for a foot or kneebar or even a triangle if he slips out and tries to get side contol. Keep it up!
