I think it is great for all the people who get to see their children have this 'change' - really, it must feel like your world somehow crashed and then 'uncrashed' - I just am a bit confused because I have worked with children on the Spectrum for over 9 years... and do all these things naturally, but it doesn't have the same results. But they all seem to start really really young (most children are not even diagnosed at that time) - so that does it mean it's brilliant and we then should

I have taken many adult classes at the Option Institute - wonderful! I understand so much more how I operate in the world, what beliefs I hold that influence how I feel. My married life has improved and I am much happier. Barry Neil Kaufman also wrote "Happiness is a Choice" as well as other books. I remember reading the book "Son-Rise" by Barry Kaufman, and I also read the book "A Miracle" by the same author about a family from Mexico who had a little boy named Robertito who was also autistic & the Kaufman couple helped to rehabilitate the child. I'm just curious. What are the Kaufmans doing these days? I understand that they have been running an institution called the Option Center for a lot of years now.

I love to watch these programs and they make cry every time! I am the mother of an autistic child and also work with autistic children. We need the Son-Rise program in the UK. Please! Please! Please!

am currently investigating the methods of the Son Rise program , have been a support provider professionally for 8 years, have contacted the ATCA about possible training to work in this program as a facilitator
