  • @gtc1961 Maybe it's because that Long Island is the home of major shopping districts of New York. In fact,it's my favorite hangout spot now. And even though my mother never took me there until I was 7 years old in 1986,I believe that Long Island has everything a person could possibly look for in the retail shopping industry. So,yes it does remind me of that music-especially when I step inside the train in the Jamaica station heading to Farmingdale.

  • @nicholasyoder hey, what did you want for $7999?

  • @kkrivers79 why does the LIRR remind you of that music?

  • I miss that Service Merchandise commercial! Nowadays, whenever I ride the Long Island Rail Road,as soon as I step inside the train.the music from that commercial gets stuck inside my head.

  • Yeah lol the Fiero, they got the fire part right.

    Mine went up in flames.

  • I'm just saying that it was NOT the episode when the Bunkers went to California. This was when the Stivics came to New York. Archie ranted and raved because Mike had been arrested for stripping at a protest march.

  • Dick Billingsley was the cute little boy in the Rice A Roni stuffing commercial. I googled his name recently, he is such a good looking man now. He was a cutie then and is still a cutie now. I think he made his TV debut on All in The family as Joey Stivic when they came home fro Christmas. This was when it was called Archie Bunkers Place, he was 4 then.

  • that gap commercial was sorta creepy.

  • @jakobluke Lung cancer, she was 69.

  • Wow, that's terrible! How old was she and what did she die of?
