Nearly 7,000 online students completed their degree programs over the last 6 months at Kaplan University. More than 1,000 graduates traveled to the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago on Saturday, August 6, to proudly receive their hard-earned diplomas.

Each of these students showed an unrelenting commitment to success, balancing their education with their work and family responsibilities. This video will show you just how proud they were as they took center stage for one of the most incredible moments of their lives.

  • Cant watch this video without crying. I am also a Kaplan university student and I graduate March 2012 and I am soo ready. What an amazing experience this has been still being able to get my degree.

  • I am currently enrolled with Kaplan University now for a year and I have loved every moment of my experience with them. And really can't wait to experience the joy of receiveing my Associates Degree in Educational Paraprofessional!!

  • @jgmsailor29 I did Kaplan Online for both undergrad & grad school because I loved the curriculum & most of the instructors BUT their CSR's & other employees need more training or a customer service boot camp. Most of the people I had the pleasure of speaking with were great & knew their job. It's the ones who were incompetent & didn't know what they were doing that have forever left a soar taste in my mouth ESPECIALLY their career services department - what a disappointment! However most are.

  • OMG!!! I so want this experience!! March 2012 I CAN'T WAIT!!!

  • I was in this ceremony. Now I am finishing up my first year of grad school at a state school ( not Kaplan ). There are many online options for you guys out there. Kaplan is a for profit university (business) and many time they lack the customer service, ability to fix financial situations, and an academic advising team that lacks motivation and dedication to helping you guys through your degree plans. I experienced this first hand during my last term, and now my wife, in her last term, is going

  • @bxdymeshawtii Me too!! :) can't wait

  • This was my graduation ceremony and I was so excited to actually be able to attend. I will most definitely cherish this moment for the rest of my life!! I hope that I was an inspiration to my children who watched me walk the stage. It was a great ceremony!

  • watched this online cuz i had a friend graduating was ok up til it became the criminal justice show

  • this is my graduation and i am happy and proud of everyone who made it through and i am proud of everyone trying to make it i graduated at this graduation ceremony even though i was not able to be there i still got to watch it on the webcast.

  • Seeing this video makes me so very proud of everyone who completed their goals. I will graduate from Kaplan in 2013 and I can't wait. I love this University and I am so glad to be a part of Kaplan.
