When you hit the note that is going to become a pull off, bend it slightly, very slightly, then pull it off. The pull off should sound clearer.
I can't tell you if it's the case for this song in particular since I've never played it but in most cases this is my trick for a clear pull off. In my song "Le Lièvre et le Corbeau" in my videos, by the end I have a whole riff made of pull offs, and that is my little trick. ;)

How do u get the pull off to be so clear ? for that matter how wide is your fret neck ?
