Metal Detecting -The Glory Hole

Today June 25th 2010 ,Pops and I went metal detecting at a hunted out home site where i found my 1861 half dime, i had the best day ever, so many sivler coins. Watch the video to see what i found. dug 3 halo effect signals , i silver and another was a merc. we detected from 6:05am to 1:35pm.

that "quarter" is what cheapskates use in coke machines. they put a string thru the whole, put the quarter in the machine, then yank it out with the string :P

@Grave933 this quarter is a george washington commerative token.. made in the 1960s..

that 1707 coin might not be a token, that might be a state coin from way back before they had a national currency, i wouldn't toss it. ide check it out with a professional.

@MIgardener i am a professional . it is from the 1950/ 60s era. it is a memorial token for George Washington. of coarse i still have it in a display case right now.

i am almost sure the coin with the hole in the middle is not a coin at all. when george washington died they gave out buttons for his percession.
