The walls will already have two air barriers. TYVEK does little to nothing for air seal, the homes are typically too tight w/out wrap. I like how he says you are going to keep that hot humid air out, yet ALL homes are required to bring .35 air changes/hour. If the air does not get through all of the normal tiny holes around the house you are required to poke a hole and draw in enough air to compensate. There are ZERO energy savings in a super tight home, unless you use an ERV, which risks health
Wouldn't a regular radiant barrier rated 97% reflective perform superior while probably costing much less?
