Six year old girl answers questions about the national debt and whether it is fair for Congress to put people in debt who aren't even old enough to vote (recorded January, 2009). She has no say so in things and even now is tens of thousands of dollars in debt now being made worse to bail out failing auto companies, big banking institutions and anybody else showing up hat in hand. THIS IS IMMORAL. This is truly TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION.

As of the end of 2008, the total current and future obligations of the United States Government exceed $54 trillion. This is nearly $500,000 per U.S. Household. GOT HALF A MILLION LAYING AROUND?

  • using ur own kid as a tool,.parenting fail

  • @fhattest Sorry you're upset that she is smarter than you are and actually understands that (a) she hates taxes since the first time she had a dollar to buy something and found out it really cost $1.07 and (b) doesn't think she should have her future economic success diminished by elected morons today. You say "parenting fail" yet it was unscripted. If we do not teach them today how shall they learn and or govern in the future?

  • @sshepard94 cause thats what a kid should be thinkin about right, not barbies or santa, parents are suppose to protect their children from the absurdities of what adults do, not use them for YOUR agenda, just cause our government is screwing up doesnt mean parents have to

  • @fhattest so, you presume that because she doesn't like being made a slave by politicians that she doesn't have Barbies or play with her friends or do cheerleading? Should I not have explained to her "cost of goods sold", "profit" and proper "product presentation" when helping her with her lemonade stand? Or is teaching about free enterprise and entrepreneurship also some kind of parenting fail?

  • @fhattest You are a fucking retard.

  • if this country fucks up communist China is going to buy us

  • She's a darling, haha. The funny thing is that she's too young to understand all the details associated with our debt (heck, even I am, lol), BUT she's obviously learned enough to know that we have out spent our pocket books. The unfortunate thing is that while the debt was not incurred by her, her generation will be the ones cleaning up the mess if something isn't done NOW!!

  • kids dont judge, give them the facts and thyll understand very well.

  • Oh yes it is your debt! You were born in this geographical area and therefore you owe me!

You're right. There's no contract. It's not your debt.
